BUILDING MAINTENANCE

Your new buildings may be stained or painted to preserve their classic looks. You can do it, or we'll do it for you in the shop prior to delivery. Price for us to do it is a percentage of the base price of your structure.

T-111 is best painted, while the board and batten looks great with a simple stain or varnish.

We recommend sealing within a year of purchase, and the sooner the better, to prevent graying. (unless you like the natural effect of aging)

If you wish to paint the board and batten please wait a year to paint and do it in the dry season. Otherwise, if you paint right away, the pine will naturally shrink a little and will show bare wood.
