BUILDING DELIVERY & SITE PREPARATION

Photos of Buildings being delivered & Set Up

Delivery Of Your Barn: The customer is fully responsible for site preparation, access to the site, and any permits that may be required. Please look at our page of delivery and set-up photos so you can get a clear idea of how your barn will be delivered.

Our barns are fully built in our shop and delivered to your site with a truck and trailer. At this time we only provide delivery to the East Coast. Delivery fees will be added to your barn and are figured by mileage and size of barn (12' wide barns require an escort vehicle so they are more to ship out). Once you decide on your barn size and location we'll be happy to help you figure delivery charges.

Barn On Truck Site Preparation: Your building (like most all buildings) should sit on a level pad. After you have leveled your site, you may want to spread a few inches of footing appropriate to your area, to enhance drainage. Do check with your local agency to see if you are required to have a solid foundation or anchor your building. This is your responsibility, as all areas require different rules for permits, footings etc. Remember that the truck and trailer may have to drive OVER your pad, and allow for this in your planning. (see the delivery page, and ask us if you have questions about this) Quick Barns, LLC, is located in the Sandhills of NC, and we put our own barns on sand. We put mats in the stalls and that's all, and it works very well because we are on sand. You may want to spread clay, gravel, or stone dust, depending on your soil.

Access To Site: In order not to delay the delivery of your barn, please make sure that your site is accessible on the day of delivery.

You are responsible to provide a suitable prepared site and access to site over a solid driveway or across solid ground. You must provide clearance through any trees and plantings. Clearance needed in most cases: 16' wide, 14' high, 70' length for tractor and trailer. Wide sweep needed for 90º curves. Please note that the fence opening or the gate needs to be 12' wide for 10' wide buildings and 14' wide for 12' wide buildings (providing that the fence is not higher then 8'). For higher fences or gates add 2' extra.

PLEASE NOTE: Prices on this website do not include delivery charges or taxes. Please contact us by phone or email for a accurate estimate of the cost of your building including delivery to your location. Permits and site preparation, including adequate access to your site. are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please see the delivery and site preparation pages before you place your order.
